Background & Aim: Nurses are the largest professional group of healthcare providers, who significantly influence the quality and effectiveness of health care services. This requires the development of scientific nursing knowledge and systematic attention to nursing research activities, especially clinical research, in order to provide strong evidence for nursing interventions. In this regard, research priority setting is an essential step for improving the quality of health services. This study was conducted to determine the nursing research priorities in Iran. Materials & Methods: This study was initially conducted in 2015 using a three-round Delphi method with the participation of 19 nursing experts in the fields of administration, clinical practice, , education and research, and then was revised in 2017. Initially, a draft of the issues related to nursing research was prepared based on the concerns of nursing experts and upstream documents. Afterwards, the prepared priorities were sent to the participants in three consecutive phases, and their opinions were analyzed using directed content analysis. The research priorities were revised by 43 nursing experts from various regions in Iran. Results: Based on the content analysis of the data, in the phase of nursing priority setting, 36 priorities were obtained in the administrative (21 items), educational (2 items), clinical practice (11 items), and research domains (2 items). In the revision phase, these priorities increased to 57 cases in the administrative (23 items), educational (11 items), clinical practice (18 items), and research domains (5 items). Conclusion: Current priorities are focused on the national needs in nursing research. Therefore, conducting research in the identified areas in this study could improve the quality of nursing care and health outcomes, which in turn promotes the health of individuals, families and the community.

Abstract:

With the expansion of Internet access and the provision of communication between researchers, the demand for research methods based on this structure is increasing. With the development of the Internet, the limitations of many research methods, such as Delphi-which are often limited to geographical boundaries-have been reduced, paving the way for the emergence of new implementation methods. E-Delphin is a qualitative method and online to respond to the growing needs of science to experts ‘ consensus. Despite all advantages of this method, many Researchers are unfamiliar in many disciplines, such as medical and health education. A large part of it is related to the ignorance of this method in general and the other part is related to the methodological issues and the qualitative nature of this method is related to the ignorance of this method in general and the other part to the methodological issues and the qualitative nature of this method. The scientists who intend to use this method will face with several challenges, which include limited educational resources in the implementation of this method, lack of general consensus on the quality and framework of research rounds, the problem of generalizability of results, lack of Specialized and free websites in this field, the challenge of access to the Internet for all researchers or experts, conventional technical problems, Mechanisms for issuing round information in order to enter the computer and analyze, the measuring problems of the consensus, theoretical saturation and the risk of false saturation, this method interferes with some other techniques like survey, the need for the researcher's relative mastery of the subject matter. But despite all these shortcomings, the unique advantage of E-Delphi is that it is able to predict the future and fate of an issue such as the future of technology, a training method, or a treatment protocol over the next few years or decades.

Abstract:

Ticks are important ectoparasites in equids which causes economic losses in animal husbandry of Iran and worldwide. This study was aimed to determine frequency and species diversity of hard ticks in equids in Turkman sahra, Iran. 240 equids were randomly selected and examined from 2018-2019. Ixodid ticks were collected from body surface of examined animals and identified. Of all examined equids, 37.91% horses, and 4.16% donkeys were infested with a total number of 357 ixodid ticks. Tick indices (tick number per animal) were 3.53.  The highest prevalence of hard ticks was found in ≥3 years-old equids in the region. There was significant difference between prevalence and different age groups of infested animals. Of all examined ticks (357), three genera including Hyalomma spp., Rhipicephalus spp. and Dermacentor spp. with four species. i.e. Hyalomma anatolicum (65.26%), H. marginatum (10.64%), Rhipicephalus bursa (22.12%) and Dermacentor marginatus (1.96%) were identified. Ixodid ticks’ infestations occured throughout the year with the highest prevalence in spring. There was significant difference between prevalence of hard ticks and seasons in this study. The results revealed that species diversity and ixodid ticks’ infestations were prevalent in the equids of Turkman sahra, Iran.

Abstract:

In this paper, the results of a Delphi survey for investigating the critical factors that affect IT application in Iranian governmental organizations are explained. At first the research problem is defined. Then the research methodology which is qualitative is described. Explaining the Delphi method and the reasons of applying it, in this context is the subject of the next part. In practice, at first the state of the art of the subject is acquired by literature survey and a primary framework was produced based on the findings of this stage. Then the primary framework was completed and finalized through Delphi method. Exact explanation of stages including the selection of Delphi panel by non-probability sampling, conducting four rounds of Delphi method, and the trend of gaining consensus during the rounds are the following parts of the paper. Finally, findings of the research are explained and analyzed. According to these findings, the panel recognized 37 critical factors in IT application in Iranian governmental organizations. 20 of these factors have been referred to in the previous studies about the governmental sector and the rest were referred to by the panel itself. These factors are classified into six categories. At the end of the paper, limitations and implications of the research are explained.

Abstract:

Introduction: The aim of the present study was to develop a hospital management information system (HMIS) as the infrastructure for establishing and deploying an electronic HMIS (eHMIS). Its deployment can lead to the achievement of integrated hospital information as well as reliable and timely statistical indicators of the current information system using efficient, new, and effective technology in the field of hospital management. Methods: This research was conducted in a mixed method in two parts of qualitative-comparative and qualitative-two-steps Delphi in year 2017. The research population was selected based on non-random sampling through a targeted sampling method among 30 experts in Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, Sari, Iran. Results: The 10-step WHO-based HMIS development strategy consisted of 12 principles, 62 steps, and 28 worksheets. Experts agreed on the principles and steps in the initial model and the final model, and no changes were made. Corrections were made only in the worksheets section, and the number of worksheets increased in steps 1, 2, 6, and 9. Conclusion: In order to establish an eHMIS, there is a need to design the infrastructure of the current hospital information system. The proposed solution can be used as a simple and quick manual and mechanized application to provide the infrastructure of the current hospital information system.
